As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents’ well-being. Your responsibilities will include:
Role requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
- Overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, medication administration and adherence to care plan.
- Meeting residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs. Ensuring the safety and security of residents and staff is met.
- To provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Building a strong team, able to train and develop care staff, maintaining adequate staffing levels.
- Excellence in operations whilst managing the day-to-day operations of the care home facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines. Oversee medication administration and adherence to care plans. Conduct assessments and develop individualised care plans for residents. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Implement quality assurance measures to enhance resident care.
- Liaise with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Knowledgeable of clinical practices to date.
- Proven experience in managing a care home or similar setting and has a strong background in dementia care and medication administration.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- NVQ level 5 in Health & Social Care is desirable. We offer comprehensive training and support.
