Hawthorn Lodge Care Home in Nottingham is set in Bestwood Park very close to the Bestwood Lodge Hotel and within easy access of the City Hospital Campus of the Queen’s Medical Centre.
As a Care home located so close to Nottingham, the home of Robin Hood, there are always so many wonderful places to visit such as Nottingham Castle, The Brew Yard Museum, Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem (the oldest pub in England established in 1189), as well as theatres and art galleries. There are also lots of great opportunities to be involved in the local community as we have close links with schools and churches, and we are also served well by our local Dr Surgeries and Pharmacies
Residents can also enjoy our safe and secure garden with manicured lawns and seasonal flower beds. Our gardens are ideal for relaxing in, watching the comings and goings of the squirrels and birds or partaking in gardening activities.
With 24hr care provision, we strive to provide high quality, person centred care tailored to the specific needs of our residents in a welcoming and resident-led home. Our goal is to provide a sense of dignity, independence and individuality to our residents, and this is driven by our lifestyle and leisure services.
Our experienced, qualified and dedicated staff are led by the homes Manager who has over 26 years of experience within the Care Sector. The ethos of our home is that each and every one of our care home teams will treat our service users and their loved ones with the utmost dignity and respect.
All the Homes staff see our service users as an extension of their own family and care is always delivered with empathy. We understand that everyone is a unique individual and the difficulties associated with moving into a 24 hour care home environment. We work closely with each of our residents and their family and friends to ensure that we create personalised care plans which place our service users at the centre.
