Precious Salvador from The Hollies wins The Palliative Care/End of Life Award at The Great British Care Awards 2024!
On Friday, November 15, 2024, we proudly attended The Great British Care Awards – South East England Regional Ceremony held in Brighton. This prestigious event celebrates excellence, dedication, and outstanding contributions within the social care sector, and we were honoured to receive 13 nominations across seven categories, a reflection of the commitment and passion our team brings to providing exceptional care.
The Great British Care Awards are a highly esteemed recognition in the care industry, highlighting individuals and teams who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional services. Winning these awards signifies a dedication to quality, innovation, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we care for. We can confidently say that all our nominees exemplify this commitment, driven by values such as person-centered care, compassion, empathy, trust, dignity, and independence.
The night brought immense pride as our very own Precious Salvador was awarded the Palliative Care/End of Life Award. Precious joined us on March 8, 2017, as a Senior Care Assistant, the same position she holds today, demonstrating her unwavering commitment and dedication to her role. Her qualifications include a BS in Nursing from the Philippines, Level 3 and Level 5 certifications in End-of-Life Care, and she is currently completing her Level 5 Management in Adult Care. Precious is deeply motivated by her faith, the love and support of her family, her passion for learning and embracing new challenges, and her drive to make a difference. Her motto, “If God puts you up, no one can take you down,” reflects her resilience and positive outlook, which inspires everyone around her.
With her win, Precious will now advance to The Great British Care Awards Final, and we wish her the very best as she continues to showcase the outstanding care that defines our team.
