My mother has been a resident since October 2022. We considered and rejected many homes before selecting Linden Manor. This is a small and well-managed home and my mother has improved significantly with the outstanding care that she receives. The home is very clean, and carers/staff are friendly and welcoming, all aware of my mother and her current well-being. Daily activities are varied and frequent entertainment is organised. Family meetings are regular with individual residents’ care plans reviewed. Risk assessments are documented. I am delighted with the care provided by this home and my mother feels safe and well looked after.

Son of Resident

Cannot praise the manager and staff enough for the care given to my father both physically and emotionally. Also the understanding and support given to family members both during his care and his passing. It’s an old house and may not have all the amenities but it is a Home.

I began work in a nursing home and really enjoyed it but took time off to bring up my family. I began working for Regal Care in 2013, I started of as a carer 2 nights a week as I was a single mother with a young child. I was asked to join the day team and was promoted to a senior after around 6 months. I enjoyed the role, especially the medication side and after 4 years I was asked to go to our sister home and help out, which I did and really enjoyed it, so I requested a transfer. I was then promoted to head of care and enjoyed the role very much, attending the Gold standard framework training and autism training. These are just a couple of examples. I really like the fact that this company enables me to gain more and more knowledge regarding my job while also being understanding of the fact I have a young child. After 4 years at the sister home I was asked to return to Linden Manor as the Deputy Manager which I agreed to, and after 2 years became the registered manager. It makes me fulfilled in my role when I see how happy and relaxed the residents are. My motto to my staff is this may be where we work, but it is the residents home. My aim is to ensure every individual that comes into Linden Manor receives outstanding care.
