Always feel welcome as visitors. My step mum visits 3/4 times a weeks and cannot speak highly enough of the support staff give to Dad, especially with eating. We are impressed with all activities on offer. All staff are so helpful and polite. I’m sad my dad is in a home, but I feel at ease knowing he’s receiving expert care. Thank you!

Son of Resident

The feeling when you are welcomed into Blenheim by the staff is it feels like a family and you are welcomed as part of it. The staff are very patient loving and kind and this translates in the peace and tranquillity I see in my mum. I can feel my mum is well cared for when I see her with staff, and enter her room as it is always clean and tidy and my mum is always looking her best. Staff are always responsive to any concerns I might have and I feel we are working together in the care of my mum. It is a great comfort to me to know that my mum is looked after by such a great team.

I have been a member of the team at Blenheim House since 2011, I started as a care assistant which I really loved. I've always enjoyed being hands on with the residents. I then moved into the administration department. This gave me a great experience and knowledge of the accounting system. I then took on the role as deputy manager. This was in preparation of becoming the manager. I became the manager in April 2024. I love the fact that I have progressed through the ranks in the care home that I regard as my home. I have recently completed my NVQ level 5 with a distinction. I am very proud and honoured to have been given the opportunity to manage Blenheim House and hope that I can bring all my experiences together now to create a positive and well managed home for my residents and staff.
