Supporting Our Community: St Catherines Nursing Home Gives Back

At St Catherines Nursing Home, part of the Regal Care family, supporting our local community is a value we hold close to our hearts. As part of our ongoing community engagement initiative, our team recently came together to support Burngreave Foodbank, which provides vital support to families and individuals in need.

Staff generously donated non-perishable food items, nappies, and toiletries, resulting in a total donation of 36kg of food. This contribution helped provide approximately 87 meals for people who are currently struggling to access essential everyday items.

Burngreave Foodbank operates on a referral basis, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most. Located in a deprived area, St Catherines is aware of the challenges many local families face, which makes initiatives like this especially meaningful for both our staff and residents.

We were proud to receive a certificate recognising this charitable effort, but more importantly, this is not a one-off initiative. St Catherines Nursing Home has pledged to continue supporting Burngreave Foodbank and to remain actively involved in helping our local community.

We are incredibly proud of our team’s kindness and generosity and look forward to continuing to make a positive difference beyond the walls of our home.
