All the staff at Westlands Wellingborough Care Home treat my wife very well indeed, she can be a bit of a handful at times. All the staff are very well trained & pleasant. My wife has been at Westlands with dementia 2 1/2 years. She eats well & she is doing as well as expected.

Husband of Resident

Very willing staff. Residents are the main priority in this home. My father loves it. Any reasonable request is tolerated.

Nicola Bale

Registered Manager

View Bio
9 years in as Registered Manager, I learn something new most days, always looking for innovation. I have over 35 years experience in the care industry, with dementia, learning difficulties, physical and verbal behaviour challenges, severe physical difficulties and the autism spectrum. This is my first RM role, teaching me more ways of managing situations, people and furthering my knowledge for me to cascade and mentor this to my colleagues.

Karen Palmer

Deputy Manager

View Bio
I have worked in the Home for 14 years, starting part-time whilst I support my young family and then developing my own skills and knowledge to be given the privilege to work as Deputy alongside Nicola. I have expanded my skills and support a fantastic team of colleagues.

Chrissie Huarns

Head of Care

I have worked for Regal Care for over 5 years. I did move on to pursue another role but soon returned to the Home as it feels like family. I have developed from Carer to Senior Carer to now Head of Care- supporting the team. I have learnt vastly regarding medicines, health conditions and observing deterioration. This has given me great confidence and ability to work well with other health professionals on a good level of understanding.
