Regal Care Trading prides itself on the high standard of training for not only our Nursing and Care Teams but also other personnel in our Domestic, Kitchen, Maintenance and Leisure and Lifestyle Departments.

We cover a broad spectrum of subjects and specialisms in Health and Social Care promoting a holistic approach to the daily health and social needs of our residents. All new employees are given thorough inductions, as well as a bespoke training matrix tailored to their role and department.

Care Certificate

RCT is signed up to ensuring that the Care Certificate is completed by applicable staff within our Care Teams.

The Care Certificate is a recognised set of standards that health and social care workers adhere to in their daily working life. The Care Certificate enables everyone to have the confidence that workers in the care sector have the same introductory skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide person centred compassionate, safe and high quality care and support.

The Care Certificate is based on 15 standards, these must be completed before they can be awarded their certificate:

National Vocational Qualifications

All of our health care assistants are expected to work towards a minimum of a NVQ in Health and Social Care Level 1. They then all have the opportunity to progress on further in Levels 2-5.


Our qualified and highly skilled Nursing Teams are also expected to keep abreast of all the latest training and research as well as undertaking refresher courses.
